They wonder if they're making the right decision or possibly giving up their independence." she says. "It is such a fantastic feeling seeing someone, first hesitant at moving, become a social butterfly or the head of a resident committee in a matter of weeks".

Oscar Delgado

Oscar Delgado
Director of Hospitality

Oscar was born in Lima, the capital of Peru (South America). His family came to Arlington, VA in 1970 when he was only 12 years old, so he is practically a native of the Metropolitan DC area.

In his late teens, he joined the US Navy and was the leading petty officer in the Crash & Salvage Emergency Unit on the flight deck of the USS Guadalcanal LPH7 (a helicopter carrier).

He began his formal hospitality career at The Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, and then added to his experience with more 4 and 5 star hotels in Washington DC, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Miami, Florida.

He missed home and everything this area had to offer so came back to the DC area and landed at The Tower Club in Tysons, a fine dining private business club in Northern VA as their Director of Operations. After 15 years at the Tower Club he was recruited by Brightview Great Falls to be their Dining Services Director and now he is very happy to be part of the leadership team here at Ingleside at Rock Creek.

He is a proud father of three boys, Andy, Nick and Roberto, and in his spare time he enjoys quality time with family, enjoying music, dancing, theater, movies, traveling and great food.
