Keeping fit when the weather is frightful
The snow is snowing, the wind is blowing, but that doesn’t stop folks at Ingleside at Rock Creek from staying fit.
One group of residents who walk their dogs every day braved the cold even after this winter’s big snow. They were able to do so because the retirement community made sure the walkways and pathways through the courtyard were cleared of snow.
“The snow didn’t keep everybody in,” says Patty Butler-Burkhart, the community’s Director of Life Enrichment. But those who chose to stay indoors had plenty of activities to choose from.Read Full Entry
